Everything on this website is made of top quality materials, and carefully made to your specifications. Our experienced craftsmen produce every single parts of the Bogu by hand from scratch. The delivery time for the Bogu will depend on your requirements, and the availability of the products. For example, expect to wait approximately 2 months for a 64 Bamboo Same Do to be made.
Same top quality materials are used for all Tezashi Bogu. We DO NOT use different materials for different Bogus, except for the 3 Bu Bogu. We have made the 3 BU Bogu set in order to make Hand Stitched Bogu more affordable to everyone. For 3 Bu Bogu uses cow leather, instead of the deer leather, and Yamato Do, instead of the Bamboo Do. The differences in prices are based on the stitch size and the details of the Bogu.

Also, in this version of this website, the Futon portion of the Bogu shown on the picture is a custom designed 0.8 Bu Bogu. About SashiSashi means the stitching of the Futon part of the Bogu.
Sashi is represented by an old Japanese measurement unit “BU”, which means 1/10 or 0.1 (deci). In a length measurement, it represents the 1/10 of a “Sun”, which is the 1/10 of a “Shaku” (1 Shaku is approximately 30 cm). Therefore, 1 BU is approximately 3 mm, however the stitching on a 1Bu Bogu, seems to be more like a 2 mm stitching.
There are advantages and disadvantages of a closer and wider stitching.
Obviously, the closer stitching is looks nicer and it takes much more labor to create one. It takes about 4 times longer to make a 1 BU Bogu, compared to a 2 Bu Bogu.
However, some people prefer the wider stitches as the Futon is softer, and feels that the impact can be absorbed more than the tighter stitched Bogus.
